Great tunes! Boring story....

Now that I have my own cult, it is my most sincere wish that a movie be made about my life. Not because I have led an exciting, impressive life. Not because my story is thrilling or a cautionary tale where people can learn from from my struggles. I have achieved no great feats. Enjoyed no great success. I have started no revolutions nor inspired great change. In fact my life is quite dull and ordinary. I work, eat, sleep, REPEAT! I am the rat in the maze repeating the same pattern over, and over, and over again in constant pursuit of the "treat" waiting for me at the end that never really satisfies the inner desires I feel. Despite the dreary, boring story of my life, my tale should be made into a movie because the soundtrack to this movie would be EPIC!!!! I have so many great songs that go with scene ideas for this amazing cinematic masterpiece. If Steven Spielberg, George Lucas or M. Night Shyamalan are reading this, please MAKE SURE THE FOLLOWING TUNES MAKE IT INTO MY MOVIE.

"Maneater" by Hall and Oates= This song needs to be playing while Tricia gets ready for a date. A montage scene of Tricia trying to squeeze her ass into pantyhose, trying on different outfits that hide her rolls, poking her eye with a mascara wand and plucking hairs off her chin shall roll. A sense of confidence and hopefulness must be the primary vibe of this scene. Maybe the film will be a comedy? This is a classic setup for hilarity.
"Mission Impossible Theme song"= stars up when Tricia enters a bar or at a party where she is seeking eligible men. She does not meet any...hence the song choice. A montage of her striking out unfurls. This song implies an Action Adventure flick!!! Exciting and yet kind of sad, really.
"Lonesome Loser" by Little River Band= Plays when Tricia inevitably returns home all alone...again. At this point we must admit, the story of Tricia shall NOT be a romance, nor a porn flick. *sigh*

"All by Myself" By Eric Carmen= To be played while Tricia comes to the startling conclusion that she shall die alone. I have a scene in mind where Tricia is shroud in darkness sitting beside a lamp that she keeps absentmindedly turning on...then off. Then ON. Then off. Then on again, and again etc...her expression is blank and yet menacing. Maybe we have a potential horror movie here? Lonely girl goes psycho because nobody wants to love her? FYI...I did NOT steal that scene idea from the movie Fatal Attraction. Those bitches stole the idea from me!

"It's Raining Men" by The Weather Girls= No movie is truly Oscar worthy unless it has a dream sequence of some sort. Tricia, our heroine, deserves to get SOME action...even if it is only in her sleep. Perhaps my story should be science fiction? Tricia, our heroine seeks to find happiness for all single girls by experimenting with cloning technology? It wouldn't be the first time a movie took liberties with the truth to flesh out a story. I could be a mad (but caring) scientist but let's be honest...I am more of the well intentioned but dull witted assistant to the Brilliant Doctor.
"Stupid Girl" by Garbage= This song should be played every time Tricia makes yet another poor life choice. (It will be played ALOT!)

Songs about rain are a MUST because I live in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia and we are known for rain, rain and more rain. There are MANY songs about rain that I approve for my movie. Pretty much anytime I step outside in my film, a song about rain should be playing to accurately portray life on the WET Coast of Canada. In fact...the story of my life would make a great musical about rain!! Choose from some of my favorites:
* Purple Rain= Prince
*Here comes the Rain Again= The Eurythmics
* No More Rain= Blind Melon
*Let it Rain= Amanda Marshall
*Raindrops keep Falling on my Head= B.J Thomas
* I Love a Rainy Night= Eddie Rabbit
* Rainy Days and Mondays= The Carpenters
* November Rain= Guns and Roses
"I will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor = A definite MUST for my soundtrack because it is my favorite song to belt out at top volume (and completely butcher, unfortunately) on Karaoke night at the pub. I should probably send an apology letter to Mrs. Gaynor begging forgiveness but I am afraid she may ask me to stop singing it.
"Dancing in the Moonlight" by King Harvest= Is the song I listen to when I am sad because it always lifts my spirits. I don't have a specific scene for this song but I feel it is important to include it so that we can see Tricia has moments where she feel other emotions besides sadness and loneliness. It could be a moment of levity in a hard hitting drama flick?

I have thought long and hard about who should play me in my movie. The only logical option is Charlize Theron. She has the range that is required (She can do comedy, action AND play a psychopathic murderer. What more do we need to show the many sides of Tricia?) She is HOT (again...perfect choice for a fictional Tricia) and she can do her own stunts (I fall down...a lot!) If anyone knows who her agent is, please give me a call. Not because I have an agent of my own to pass the detail to. I just like getting calls!
I firmly believe a movie soundtrack can make or break a film. What we lack in storyline and content can be made shiny with awesome choices of tunes. People will stay engaged if we can dazzle them with music that will keep their toes tapping and fingers snapping. (Even if we haven't chosen a genre for this film) Somebody call JJ Abrams, Stanley Kubrick or Francis Ford Coppola STAT to get this project started! I would like to see this on the big screen before I die. With your support, my dream can be a reality. Thank you!
